location was good to arenas shopping restraunts
breakfast was so busy no place to sit
Although the lobby was under renovation and this seemed to make the front desk difficult to work at, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The hallway (we were in room 111) smelled like smoke which is enough to turn me off another visit when we go there for hockey. Also, with a couple of hockey teams checking in after their evening games, there was only one person working at the front desk. I asked for some conditioner because my bathroom had none. The person at the desk asked me to wait, she checked in 3 families, then she just reached behind her and grabbed some for me!?
It was moderately convenient; it was fairly reasonable.
Under construction, with no prior warning or price discount: noise, dust, closed areas. The bathtub had a thick layer of white powder on it. Some programmes had been stopped (e.g., kids were supposed to get 'free frozen treats,' but they had apparently stopped doing that months earlier without changing their literature).
we enjoyed having one of the newly renovated rooms- it was beautiful and very comfortable
we would have liked to have known ahead of time that the hotel was under extensive renovations. Also would have liked if the pool was open later for adults
the room was very nice and modern
there were outside lights on the building the shined into the room windows. you couldnt shut the curtains to block it out.
freindly people perfect for quiet get away.Loved the king size bed big and soft ell asleep easy.
nothing i can think of
The staff was very friendly and it was a very nice pool
1) v. helpful front desk staff 2) good breakfast - should have whole grain bread for toasting however.
1) rubberized blanket !!! - I woke up sweating a number of times during the night 2) noise of trucks on 401 3) smell of strong cleaning product in the room 4) alarm set by previous occupant went off at 6:30am waking me up after a poor sleep
Cold room and very clean
Took too long to check in while I was in a rush.
close to our family and friends, easy access
Close to the facility we were attending a wedding at.
location was great as we were heading to a Blue Jay game, via the GO trains, just across the way. The staff were friendly and very helpful, allowing us access to our rooms before the official time. The beds were comfy. Thanks
we had three rooms for the six of us and we found the pillows too thick. There were four pillows per bed and three of them were this way. Two thick and two thinner would have worked for a better sleep for several of us. As well, the breakfast was so-so. Not really bad, but nothing to write home about either. The hot water in the hot tub could have been hotter, but again, it was ok. All else was just fine.
It provided excellent facilities at reasonable price. The laundry facility was really appreciated as we were travelling across Canada over four weeks.
We thought a small drinking bar would add to the experience.
I was very impressed with the selection of Breakfast items.
The price was great, the beds were soft which to me was perfect. The pool and the breakfast toped off a great stay
